I was wondering if there are any tips to lessen the vibes from the riders footpegs?

On shortish trips (up to 50mls say) who cares yeah? - but on longer trips its beginning to irriate.

I've seen some advice on this that suggests loosening (and then re-tightening I guess) the engine mounting bolts to release built up tension.

New from South Africa and happy to see some sensible bikers out there! I bought a Fazer in December 2008 with code as above. I subsequently fitted a Yoshi pipe and noticed a sudden change in engine performance in the sense that it backfires quite loudly when gear down!
Was looking for a workshop manual to see if I can adjust mixtures and/or whether I should take the bike for a dyno!

Any advise/help appreciated

Can any one recommend a better bulb for the Fazer 1000 to improve the lights as I am doing a lot of miles on country roads with no street lights and not many road markings!!
