I seem to recall saying about a year or so ago that the modding was done ... yeah, as if.

I've had the itch to try the R1 forks in a Fazer for many years but was always happy with the K-tech modified forks that I put on back in 2003. Well, that's a long time ago, isn't it, so I figure I'm entitled to scratch the itch now.

Set Fazers to Stun!! ( I've always wanted to say that!)

Picking up my new (well '03), FZS 1000 on Saturday so thought that I'd jump right in and join a forum that has the same feel (good advice, good guys and straight talkin) as the last one I joined (xt660.com). So lookin forward to sharing/solving probs that come up along the way.

I have a pair of Icom IC-F22SR pmr radios with chargers for sale, great radios as supplied by Autocom, price on the box is £199 each !!

They come with a spare battery each, also a radio lead to connect to the Autocom system.

These radios are solid, rugged construction. Looking for £50 each plusP&P.

right, got these as i was gonna mod them for another bike, but bikeless now so dont need them. There brand new, made by motrax its a top block race kit in silver.

Says 2001 model on the rear but im sure they fit 01 - 05 models, if someone could please confirm that?

Want £50 posted ONO Can also be collected from me ( just off of J8 M25) for £5 less.

Apologies if this has been covered already. I searched but didn't find.........and I wouldn't use a slipperblock, I don't fancy the idea. Anyone got an opinion (tongue in cheek) I want to treat my 1000cc Silver Machine to the best.

Going to change the oil in the front forks this weekend. On the bikes i have owned in the past ,i have used dextran III, atf oil.
Can i use this oil in my 02 fazer, or should i use something else.The manual says 5w, anyone know what weight the atf is

150 of us have just handed the Nurburgring back to the Germans in one piece. Out of all those riders, each doing between 10-15 laps, only one bloke actually came off (but he did break his leg as well as his ZX10). To paraphrase a well-known beer advert "Probably the best trackday in the world". Nice. Now, after over 1000 miles in one weekend, of which 150 were round the 'Ring, I think I'm ready for a bath…

2004 Fazer 1000 for sale

Bad news form the hospital this weekend been told I have MND so I have got to sell my bikes !!

So it`s a 2004 Fazer 1000 with 24400 miles on the clock, I am looking for £3000, will be taxed for 6 months and tested till April 2010.
its been Ivanised by Mike, and had the AIS removed, Its just had a new front tyre (BT021) chain & sprocket kit fitted, been serviced by myself,
Always had it`s oil and filter changed twice a year, the Ex Up is free & I usualy check it at...

how much is the ring???

I understand that the pre electronic ignition R1 engine will fit the Fazer 1000.
Has anyone done this? Which engine? Did it just drop straight in and connect up?
What problems were there?
