Phew, Paul - when I saw the thread title I thought for a minute that you'd been offered a job again. Glad it wasn't that serious, mate ;) :lol

Joking aside, no physical harm done and it would a sad state of affairs if you didn't feel bad about what happened, and what might have happened if things had been a little different.

But think about it ... sounds like you'd decided that the car was turning and therefore Jane would be pulling out. If that car hadn't been indicating, you'd have stopped behind Jane without any drama.

It's so easy to get suckered by what you think is going to happen ... we've all done the roundabout approach thing where you expect the car ahead to pull away, only for the driver to stop or hesitate just as we get on the gas. Ooops ... :eek

Don't let this put you off riding - just treat it as a timely reminder to keep a few feet of offset from Jane in the future.

On the bikes only, of course ... ;) :D

Cheers

Mike
