Hi Paul,
Sorry to read this one mate, always bad news, but bashing into the boss is about as bad as it gets .. I think. :\

On the brighter side .. no injuries or damage to the bikes.

You know me, maybe better than other guys on here, I've done quite a few daft things in my time. The idea of giving up after a close call is quite normal, it might last a few days, but you need to turn it around. Try to look at this little bump as another lesson to be learned.

We've all been there and done that, if not for real then almost!

You will no doubt be getting several lumps of good advice about how to avoide such things in the future. For what it's worth (from a Lorry Drivers look-see) I'd say this to you:

At a T junction (as well as in some other places) NEVER ever assume that a vehicle IS going to turn, just because the driver has a turn signal flashing. It's not unknown for them to drive straight on, or even turn the OTHER way. You are far safer to STOP and stay still until they HAVE made their turn, or driven on by, whatever.

Glad that "Our Jane" is OK and that no real harm was done!
Give her a Bear Hug from me, then get both the bikes out and go for a good blast .. feel the fun factor again .. trust me .. you'll be fine! ;)

Stay Safe! ;) Trev.
