No, obviously not, I mean, well, no, I couldn't, I wouldn't! France is a great country, ruined by its inhabitants! There, that's levelled the score!

That was the sort of hand-holding I was referring to, rather than physical... bleargh! I just had an image of someone (me! ) holding hands with Justy whilst riding down an autoroute. I'm going to need to get some acid to rinse my eyes out now! On the accommodation thing, I'd second Jon's budget idea. Formule 1 was ridiculously easy to book online, stupid cheap (€30 a night for a room for 2) and the lack of staff means you can pretty much turn up at any time. The whole interior is made of plastic, which is, IMO, pretty grim at first sight but kinda adds to the charm when you know it's coming. I know that you don't get much of the local flavour but the sheer convenience gives it a big thumbs up from me. It could, as Mike intimates, all happen without a booking. Turn up at the port / station, get on the next boat / train and start looking for somewhere to stop around 7pm. It'll get you there but there is a risk of having to stay in different places.

All this really is looking very good indeed .. quite encouraging this time! Keep it in the air! Might I suggest that one of you .. Lord Jon or Norm (maybe) ? .. sorts out a 'Date to Go' soon .. like .. as in Now. It seems that mid to late September is going to fit in better with several guys .. at both ends .. so you need to drop the October thinking. (and change the Post Heading) Asthey say .. none of us can ever please All the poeple All the time .. so don't even try. August is the Main Holiday for everyone in Spain .. the whole country has that month off! Like the proverbial old light switch .. it's a 'Click' and all back to more or less 'normal' in September. The Weather Girl (should) still have some good days to run . The good Roads will be a lot less busy (quiet) and the Pools will still be warm enough .. for the wimps to get wet On the Financial Front (for my Uncle Norm) all the prices will go down again .. as in much closer to the 'Off Peak' tariffs Once you have some Real Dates posted up .. more guys will be able to consider things and decide about hooking up for this trip. Your Call Peeps .. Stay Safe Trev
